Mind Your Music

Mind Your Music is a unique Bristol and Somerset-based charitable organisation that harnesses the power of music-related initiatives to support mental health. Its services include no-pressure music workshops at Factory Studios, home to the production of the likes of Massive Attack, The Maccabees and New Order.

Mind Your Music also offers discounted individual guitar and singing tuition to mental health service users, social events and performances. Musical experience isn't necessary. It provides support and resources to those suffering from any kind of mental difficulty.

Mind Your Music is run by inspiring working musicians and singer-songwriters who have a passion to help. Its founder started Mind Your Music in 2003 when his own serious mental illness showed signs of improvement when he played his guitar.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

This Mental Health Awareness Week we're asking people to join us in taking action to support good mental health. Even small actions can help us feel hopeful and less powerless.

And while our individual actions matter, when we come together we are even more powerful.
